Established in 2015 and under current ownership since 2018, 1st Performance & Exhaust has built a strong reputation as a specialist independent garage serving motorists across Norwich and the wider area.

Operating from a large 750sqm workshop with nine ramps, 1st Performance & Exhaust is equipped to handle a wide range of mechanical and specialist work efficiently.  A team of 10 experienced technicians and mechanics ensures all our work is completed promptly and to a consistently high standard, with all repairs and servicing backed by a 12-month or 12,000-mile guarantee, whichever occurs sooner.

Specialist Services & Technical Capability

1st Performance & Exhaust works on all makes and models (excluding EVs and hybrids) and can also accommodate motorhomes and campervans (size restrictions may apply).

Core services include Class 4 and Class 7 MOTs, brakes, clutches, tyres, diagnostics, wheel alignment, and wheel refurbishment.  Notably, we are the only workshop in Norwich offering on-car brake disc skimming, providing a precise and cost-effective alternative to disc replacement.

Over the years, we have developed a strong performance focus, with particular expertise in custom-made stainless steel exhaust systems, especially for high-performance vehicles.  Every custom-made exhaust is tailored to the individual vehicle, delivering durability, improved sound, and enhanced performance.

Customer Experience & Peace of Mind

Servicing is carried out in line with manufacturer schedules, protecting any remaining warranty, exactly as using a main dealership workshop would.  For post-warranty vehicles, Major and Interim servicing options are available, or customers can choose to continue with manufacturer schedules.  Only genuine manufacturer or OEM parts are used throughout.

As members of the Institute of the Motor Industry and the Retail Motor Industry Federation, 1st Performance & Exhaust operates to recognised professional standards.  Additionally, customers are welcome to make use of our comfortable waiting area with WiFi, refreshments, TV, and nearby transport links, which makes every visit straightforward and stress free.
